Meet Vartika

Vartika is a Hindi and Urdu language teacher who has been teaching at Zabaan School for Languages since 2019. Born and raised in Lucknow, she brings both personal and cultural insight into her teaching, especially when exploring the deep historical and social connections between Hindi and Urdu.

She holds a degree in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. With prior experience in the public policy sector and a strong interest in politics, Vartika is particularly fascinated by the politicization and historical positioning of Hindi and Urdu in contemporary discourse.

Her Lucknowi background fuels her passion for highlighting both the subtle distinctions and shared heritage of these two languages, making her classes rich in linguistic and cultural context.
