I took Hindi classes at Zabaan, off and on for the better part of a year from November 2013 – November 2014. During that time, I took classes from Ali, Neha, Rachayta, Reza, and Dr. Jagannathan. All of them were… great instructors who really know their stuff—not just the language, but how to sensibly approach language-learning in adults. In particular, Neha stands out as a wonderful instructor who kept her class lively and fostered a fun and helpful esprit du corps within her class. The atmosphere at the school is also relaxed and welcoming, as students stream through from all corners of the globe. There’s also space to relax and chat with other students or study between classes or any time, a small library to lean on, and approachable instructors moving about between their sessions. Hands down, this has got to be the best place to learn a language in Delhi. Highly recommended.
